Naturally its 50% chance to get a seed back but the farmer outfit bonus gives you a 10-20% chance to get a seed. We were supposed to have outfits in A20 that gives a bonus if you wear the whole set, its now pushed to A21 which at the rate TFPs are moving thatll be 2 years down the road or more, but there is a farmer outfit that gives you a decent boost to getting seeds back while farming. (Also someone in another thread posted this that helps make this dumbass logic make more sense. So now I replant my 2 mushroom seed and pray to everling F(* RNG gives me a seed back or else Im boned I can only make 2 seed from 12 mushrooms, so now I have gone from 3 plants to 2 and only gained 2 mushrooms. I found 3 mushrooms and had Rank 1 of Living off Land-punched all 3 mushrooms and got 0 seeds back-I now have total of 9 mushrooms. This is a planned change thats rather dumbīasically its supposed to be a 50/50 chance to get a seed back from farming but sometimes RNG can totally bone you. If that's too much, then just survive with looted/vending machine food. Guys need to remember that this is a SURVIVAL game, and if you choose to survive through farming you gotta commit at least A SINGLE POINT into the farming skill. Now in A20 I find the bottleneck is getting enough rotten flesh for the farm plots. I remember in A19 the hardest part about getting farming started was finding the seeds. The RNG is partly balanced by seeds being much more common as loot. LotL 1 will make farming sustainable, and LotL 3 makes farming better than A19 farming (by about 17%). Combined with the 50% seed chance, this has added some RNG to farming (which many people are unhappy with). ![]() Living off the Land 1 and 3 each add a multiplier to the crops received from harvesting, to 4 and 6 respectively. The plant goes away completely when harvested and needs to be replanted. You now get a base 2 crops from any player-planted crops, and a 50% chance of getting a seed from harvesting.
